Trinity College Dublin is seeking to establish a panel of service providers for the provision of patent agency services. Trinity Technology Transfer Office (TTO), a unit within the Office of Corporate Partnership and Knowledge Exchange (OCPKE), is responsible for the management and implementation of Trinity College's Intellectual Property Policy. The core role of the TTO is the identification, protection and commercial management of IP assets created from Trinity's extensive research activities, such as patents, design rights and copyright (including software). Trinity currently has an active patent portfolio of approx. 140 patent families and typically files 20 to 25 new patent applications per year. The services required by Trinity TTO are drafting, filing and maintenance of patents on Trinity's behalf. Please note an administrative deadline for submission of proposals is set for 8 August 2022 @ 12:00 (noon). This is to allow Trinity to establish an initial panel, however the panel will remain open for a period of 12 months and Candidates are permitted to submit proposals throughout the 12 month period.
