The National Learning Network (NLN) requires the services of Irish Sign Language (ISL Interpretation Services for deaf and hard of hearing students. NLN recognises and values diversity and aims to educate through a curriculum that embodies the central value of equality, facilitating learning for all students. NLN provides access to services to learners that are deaf and hard of hearing. To ensure a quality service is delivered to all learners an Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpreting service is required in a number of CDETB centres. The services required will include ISL Interpreters, Note-Takers and Personal Assistants. This Tender will cover the requirements for 8 CDETB Colleges of Further Education but this could be expanded at the request of CDETB. There will be approximately 8 to 12 learners utilising the services starting in September 2020. NLN requires applicants to have access to a sufficient number of interpreters, note-takes and personal assistants to ensure there is continuity, consistency and reliability of services.
