RTÉ invites submissions, from suitably qualified Tenderers to design, develop, supply, validate and/or support TV programme script writing, scene scheduling and multi-camera scripting software products. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing Adobe Story system, which is used by RTÉ’s continuous drama series, (Fair City) with a solution(s) that meet the given requirements. See Appendix 1 for specification. Adobe Story is an online screenwriting and scheduling application currently used by RTÉ’s continuous drama series, (Fair City). Its functionality includes script writing, scene schedule creation, multi-camera input information along with multiple report generation used for the production of Fair City. In December 2017, Adobe announced the discontinuation of Adobe Story. As of the end of December 2019, Adobe Story will no longer be available or supported. RTÉ now requires appropriate solutions to replace the functions currently provided by Adobe Story which will provide TV programme script writing, scene scheduling and multi-camera scripting software for both drama and entertainment programmes.
