Architect/Landscape Architect Lead Design Team for Playpark in Rossmore Forest Park, Monaghan

Monaghan County Council invites tenders under the open procedure for a design team to provide designs for a Playpark in Rossmore Forest Park, Co Monaghan. The play park should be of a sufficient size and diversity to appeal to a wide range of age groups from toddler to early teens. Timber play equipment is a requirement as this is a Forest Park. The equipment should preferably be bespoke in design and suited to a woodland location. As a regional draw, a 'signature' play piece would be desirable. The Design Team shall consist of suitably qualified personnel who must have experience in the following areas: (1) Playground design (2) Landscape Architecture (3) Quantity Surveying (4) Civil/Structural Engineering It is envisaged that initially the successful Design Team will bring the project element to Planning Permission grant approved stage. At this point, the designs and performance specifications will be tendered to contractor(s) through an EU restricted procurement procedure which will also be overseen and managed by the Design Team. Contract supervision will also be required.
