ENQEIR554 - International circuit between EirGrid and Shotton Converter Station

EirGrid are looking to avail of an international Layer 2 circuit that is ≥ 34Mbits/s between EirGrid Head Office and Shotton Converter Station. Ethernet presentation is required at both termination points. EirGrid will complete all configuration and encryption necessary for the traffic that will be transmitted over this link. EirGrid require a commitment that no part of the connection will use the EirGrid East West Interconnector infrastructure. A contract will be awarded for the installation and maintenance of the above for a period of five years with an option to extend annually up to a further two years, subject to the satisfactory performance of the successful Tenderer.
