FCC/089/16 - Fingal County Council - Single Operator Framework for Electrical Response Maintenance and Installations in 2 Geographical Lots

Tenders are sought from qualified, registered and competent electrical contractors for electrical repairs, maintenance and installations in Fingal County Council properties mainly but not limited to, social housing stock and traveller accommodation, in two geographical Lots. The contract includes provision of an emergency service for the Council outside normal working hours. The tender also includes for sundry one off rewiring installations and pre-let electrical works in existing dwellings. Proposed applicants must demonstrate that they have carried out similar electrical and associated works (as set out in the pricing document) in residential properties, to a minimum of 400 dwellings in a 12 month period in the last three years, for each Lot, as part of their, or a subsidiaries core business. The works must have been similar to the proposed electrical works in nature, scale and complexity, to similar response timescales. It is to be noted that an emergency electrical response service must be provided 24 hours per day, 365 days per year; tenderers must demonstrate their ability to successfully deliver this critical requirement.
