Description of the procurement

ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for Poling and Associated works in the Republic of Ireland. It is envisaged that the scope of works to be procured under this Qualification System will be as outlined in the Section A Information Memorandum attached to this publication.
Economic operators who wish to participate in this qualification system process should submit a response as set out in the Information Memorandum on www.etenders.gov.ie - RFT ID 243492 - D20/CON/500 - Qualification System for Poling and Associated works in the Republic of Ireland.
While applications may be made to join the Qualification System at any time, those interested in being considered for the envisaged first contract (the “First Procurement”), which is a multi-contractor national framework agreement for poling and associated works under the Qualification System must submit complete QSQ Responses on or before 12:00 hrs (local time on 23rd November 2023 the “First Procurement Closing Date”). At the date of initial issuing of this QSQ it is envisaged that the national framework agreement will be awarded for a period of two (2) years and with an option to extend, at the discretion of ESB, for up to six (6) further years.
