Description of the procurement

Below is a list of services, which may be required under the Contract:
(a) Planning Assessment of sites at feasibility and early stage negotiations of acquisition;
(b) Planning application preparation and co-ordination for An Post;
(c) Advise on and co-ordinate planning appeals;
(d) General planning strategy advice;
(e) Advise on enforcement/warning notices, land use planning and zoning issues on the estate- reactive & pro active approaches:
(f) Represent An Post in pre-planning meetings and other consultations with planning authorities;
(g) Advise on & co-ordinate feasibility planning;
(h) Manage and co-ordinate traffic management surveys, traffic impact assessments, and mobility management plans;
(i) Monitor and Make submissions on behalf of An Post to appropriate bodies in connection with Local Area Development Plans and similar Plans;
(j) Liaise with Statutory Bodies as required;
(k) In the event that An Post becomes a notified party to a planning application, represent An Post in observations on such an application;
(l) Manage and co-ordinate specialist environmental and heritage subconsultants, as required, in relation to other tasks in this list of services;
(m) Monitor planning applications by third parties which could affect An Post;
(n) Monitor, advise and regularly update on planning trends, planning law and planning guideline changes that would be relevant to An Post;
