This specification document identifies DCU’s requirements for a GLOBAL SAFETY & SECURITY SOLUTION (“GSSS”). As an organisation, we are looking to acquire a Software-as-a-Service solution that allows all stakeholders to communicate and coordinate in response to any safety or security incident. The Solution should be a functionally rich, easy to use command and control security and safety system that extends the Security Team's view of any situation, and lets any number of users (staff, students, campus visitors, contractors) to request help quickly and easily via a mobile device and to have their safety managed proactively in and out of hours and in isolated circumstances.
