Short description

The requirement consists of a range of compressed air powered tools, including impact wrenches, drills, riveters etc. and associated air-line fittings, the servicing and repair of same and re-calibration when necessary. Bottle jacks including conventional and low-profile jacks in the 10 to 12 tonne capacity range. Torque wrenches and the recalibration of same. Other miscellaneous items of garage equipment typically used in Bus Maintenance facilities and conventional hand tools.
Note that the equipment required will be used in garage facilities servicing very significant numbers of road passenger service buses and coaches and must be of heavy-duty industrial grade suitable for constant use in such workshop environments.
Bus Eireann operates 18 maintenance garage facilities throughout Ireland and in all cases the equipment and materials required under this contract will be required to be delivered direct to the garage locations concerned, on an as required basis.
