Short description

In 2016, Fáilte Ireland and Coillte established a strategic partnership to provide enhanced outdoor tourism experiences at Coillte properties in order to promote them as world-class destinations to visitors from overseas and Ireland. One of the key projects under this partnership, is to establish Ireland as an international destination for mountain biking. The Department of Rural & Community Development through the Rural Regeneration Development Funding Scheme are the main funders of this project. This procurement process commences the development of trailhead buildings to deliver this project.
Each trailhead building centre will have a full range of visitor facilities (café, showers, toilets, bike hire, servicing, washing etc) to provide a complete experience for riders and visitors.
