A key target for the SláinteCare Action Plan 2019 is improved access to diagnostic services for GPs in a community setting. Against this backdrop, Beaumont Hospital intends to construct a standalone Diagnostic Centre on the campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Raheny, which will provide both general and cardiac imaging. The Diagnostic Centre will be under the governance of Beaumont Hospital’s Radiology Department. Additionally, the appointed Design Team shall be responsible for the design of a theatre suite on the campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Raheny. The appointed Design Team shall be required to exercise its professional judgement in identifying the most appropriate location for the theatre suite, in conjunction with management of the Contracting Authority, and for progressing this element of the project in conjunction with the Diagnostic Centre.
