This tender focuses on providing CHI with a Drug Knowledge Base capable of integrating with our Epic EHR. CHI are looking for a comprehensive drug knowledge base containing clinical and commercial information to:
• support safer prescribing, administration and dispensing of medications in paediatrics
• support flexible drug selection methods
• enable patient-specific clinical checking to occur
• help reduce the occurrence of prescribing, administration and dispensing errors and reinforce patient safety.
Once integrated with Epic, the core decision support functionality should include:
• Drug to Drug Interactions
• Allergy & Sensitivity Checking
• Drug to Disease Contra-Indications & Precautions
• Pharmacological Equivalence
