Short description
The HSE requests Tender proposals for the supply, delivery, installation and staff training of an automated storage shelving unit suitable for the storage and retrieval of Health Care Records (HCRs) on behalf of University Limerick Hospital Group (ULHG).
The function of storage and retrieval of charts lies with the Health Care Records (HCRs) Department, with 6 departments around the UHLG. In 2023 it is planned that the UHL HCR’s main library will be relocated to an offsite location in the Raheen/Ballycummin Industrial Estate. The automated storage shelving solution will be used to store A4 clinical charts. As these files will be accessed regularly for retrieval purposes, it should be robust and suitable for constant use and meet infection control requirements. Assistance will be required from the successful Tenderer to design the most appropriate configuration to maximise the storage capacity available in the new location.

Description of the procurement
The HSE requests Tender proposals for the supply, delivery, installation and staff training of an automated storage shelving unit suitable for the storage and retrieval of Health Care Records (HCRs) on behalf of University Limerick Hospital Group (ULHG).
The function of storage and retrieval of charts lies with the Health Care Records (HCRs) Department, with 6 departments around the UHLG. In 2023 it is planned that the UHL HCR’s main library will be relocated to an offsite location in the Raheen/Ballycummin Industrial Estate. The HSE are now seeking a provider to supply and install a shelving/racking solution that will facilitate this off site move for the new HCRs library.
