AN POST requires the services of the Contractor to provide a cost efficient, competent and sustainable service for the Supply & Delivery of HVO Fuel to various sites, nationwide.
HVO must conform to EN 15940 (or equivalent) standard (as amended or updated during the term of the Contract).
All fuel supplied must comply with prevailing legal and industrial standards throughout the term of the contract.

Description of the procurement

HVO must conform to EN 15940 (or equivalent) standard (as amended or updated during the term of the Contract).
All fuel supplied must comply with prevailing legal and industrial standards throughout the term of the contract.
AN POST currently has two sites where HVO fuel is supplied in bulk and they are set out below along with the estimated annual consumption.
Galway Delivery Service Unit - 121,000 litres
Little Island Delivery Service Unit, Cork - 90,000 litres
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate to AN POST’s complete satisfaction that they have the capacity and capability to provide all of the services required, to the business units listed above and have a national capability to service:
• Portlaoise
• Dublin
• Waterford
• Sligo
• Letterkenny
• Dundalk
• Tralee
The requirements contained in this notice are based on AN POST’S current requirements which are indicative only, are not exhaustive and are subject to change in line with the business needs and ongoing operational requirements of AN POST. (i.e. where new sites are added than those mentioned in this document or where there is a reduction to the existing sites).
