Short description

The Commissioner of An Garda Síochána invites tenders for the provision of a nationwide vehicle bodywork repair service, including consequential mechanical repairs. Tenders are being invited for the provision of the service throughout the State. With this objective in mind it is proposed to establish a single supplier Framework contract.
An Garda Síochána - Ireland's civilian National Police Service – Will be the primary user of this contract. The general direction, management and control of An Garda Síochána are the responsibility of the Commissioner, who is appointed by the Government. He/she is responsible to the Minister for Justice, & Equality who in turn is accountable to the Oireachtas (the Irish Legislature).
For policing purposes the country is divided into six Regions, each Region is divided into Divisions commanded by a Chief Superintendent, and each division is then divided into Districts commanded by a Superintendent.
