HSE Procurement wish to procure on behalf of the HSE to invite tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the supply and on-going support of Zebra MC930P RF handheld devices.
The HSE is ongoing a Roll out of the IFMS project, the NDC (National Distribution Centre) has identified a number of manual processes that will need to be converted to a computerised system of tracking products through and out of the warehouse to enable proper usage of the new Extended Warehouse management system that will be implemented.
Zebra MC930P handheld devices is the reference device recommended by SAP for the implementation of EWM. These devices are essential to support and execute key warehouse processes.

Description of the procurement

Zebra MC930P handheld devices is the reference device recommended by SAP for the implementation of EWM. These devices are essential to support and execute key warehouse processes. It is a requirement that these devices need to be managed on the Mobility & Management platform. This platform is cloud hosted, manages mobile devices, mobile device applications remotely, handles updates and ensures that mobile content is held securely. The specification takes account of our obligations under Article 42 (4) “Technical Specifications in terms of allowing equivalents.”
