Short description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) are seeking quotations for the lease of two (2) panel vans. The vans must have a payload volume in the 13.0 m³ to 17.0 m³ range.
The proposal should allow for a maximum annual distance of 75,000 km per vehicle. If this maximum annual distance is exceeded, DAFM will pay an additional amount per excess kilometre. Tenderers should specify the details of any excess mileage fees in Appendix 2.
These vans will serve daily routes visiting DAFM Offices throughout the Republic of Ireland. Vans may be required to travel to any county in the Republic of Ireland on any given day. Vehicles supplied under this contract for these routes must be new and previously unused. Vehicles should have less than 250km travelled before delivery.

Additional vans may be required at different times during the term of the contract for short-term lease on a week by week basis to facilitate the Department attending events such as the National Ploughing Championships. These events could be in any county in the Republic of Ireland.
