III.1)

Conditions for participation

III.1.1)

Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers

List and brief description of conditions:  Applicants must demonstrate that they possess suitably qualified and experienced management staff to undertake this project, have the necessary experience of delivering projects of similar nature, scale & complexity with relevant experience of multi-unit housing developments.
Curriculum Vitaes (max 3 A4 pages) must be submitted
Evidence of qualifications and professional membership shall be provided prior to contract award for all management in the form of certificates or similar from the academic or professional institution.
(i) Organisational Chart
The Applicant must provide an overall company organisational chart identifying head office personnel and the management team relevant to this project and their roles and responsibilities.
(ii) Contracts Director
The role of Contracts Director is a separate role. The same person cannot be nominated to fulfill another role within the project. The person nominated in the role of Contracts Director shall have training and experience in both Building Construction and in Health & Safety, relevant to projects of a similar scale and complexity.
The Contracts Director shall be responsible for delivery of the project and shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience or greater
This may be demonstrated through the following:
a) relevant experience on similar construction projects (of a similar scale and complexity)
b) educational, professional qualifications and project management skills
c) Safety and health qualifications and training (e.g. degree, diploma, certificate, managing
safety in construction, continual professional development)
d) Experience in working with and managing other Contractors/sub-contractors
(iii) Contracts Manager
The role of Contracts manager is a separate role. The same person cannot be nominated to fulfill another role within the project. The person nominated in the role of Contracts Manager shall have training and experience in both Building Construction and in Health & Safety, relevant to projects of a similar scale and complexity. Experience of constructing housing schemes should be demonstrated. The Contracts Manager shall have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience or greater.
This may be demonstrated through the following:
a) Relevant experience on similar construction projects (of a similar scale and complexity)
b) Educational, professional qualifications and project management skills
c) Safety and health qualifications and training (e.g. degree, diploma, certificate, managing
safety in construction, continual professional development)
d) Experience in working with and managing other Contractors/sub-contractors
(iv) Project Supervisor Construction Stage Coordinator (PSCS). The role of PSCS Coordinator is a separate role. The same person cannot be nominated to fulfill another role within the project. The person nominated in the role of PSCS shall have training and experience in both Building Construction and in Health & Safety, relevant to projects of a similar scale and complexity. The PSCS must have at least five (5) years’ experience in the Building Trade and must have formal externally accredited training in Health and Safety (relevant to the role of PSCS) within the last five (5) years.
This may be demonstrated through the following:
a) Relevant experience on similar construction projects (of a similar scale and complexity)
b) Educational, professional qualifications and project management skills
c) Safety and health qualifications and training (e.g. degree, diploma, certificate, managing
safety in construction, continual professional development, PSCS)
