The proposed unit will provide 16 no. bed modules on each of the four flours, subdivided into modules of eight beds, thus meeting the highest standards in terms of isolation facilities and support accommodation.

Justification:  
The required professional services will design a new Critical Care Unit, affording a busy acute hospital additional space in which to treat critically ill patients. The new facility is therefore urgently required. On grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.
