Short description

This RFT is to carry out testing of up to two heat pump models to assess the compliance of these products with the EU Ecodesign Directive (2009/125/EC) and the EU Energy Labelling Regulations (EU 2017/1369), hereafter called “the Regulations”.
The provider will be required to test:
Model A
One unit of Model A has already been tested and has not achieved the results required to comply with the Regulations. Therefore, a further three units of Model A must be tested to assess their compliance with the Regulations.
Model B
A single unit of Model B is due to be tested shortly and if this is found not to have achieved the results required to comply with the Regulations, we will also need to test a further three units of this model. Note that testing of this model will not go ahead if the initial unit tested is found to comply with the Regulations.

Description of the procurement

The objective of this Request for Tender is to carry out testing of up to two heat pump models – for the purposes of this RFT called, “Model A” and “Model B” – in order to assess the compliance of these products with the EU Ecodesign Directive (2009/125/EC) and the EU Energy Labelling Regulations (EU 2017/1369), hereafter called “the Regulations”.
The appointed service provider will be required to test the following:
Model A
