The HSE invites tenders for the Provision of mobile, on-site x-ray(to the patient) services to Various Community Based Locations, including, but not limited to, covering nursing homes, disability centres, hospices, transitional care facilities and private dwellings nationwide
This procurement process is on behalf of the Irish Public Health System (HSE) including all 49 Acute Hospitals and 9 CHO areas, Organisations funded by the HSE and the Irish Public Sector.
This tender process is being conducted under Part 3 Chapter 1 of the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (S.I. 284 of 2016) (the “Regulations”) - Social and other specific services . The required services are listed as Annex XIV services of Directive 2014/24/EU (the “Directive”) and, accordingly, only Regulations 74-77 of the Regulations apply.

Description of the procurement

The HSE invites tenders for the Provision of mobile, on-site x-ray(to the patient) services to Various Community Based Locations, including, but not limited to, covering nursing homes, disability centres, hospices, transitional care facilities and private dwellings nationwide.
Note: Service Providers are requested to only submit a tender if they are confident that they have the requisite capacity, suitably qualified staff, experience and expertise within their organisation to deliver on the service as outlined in the project documentation commencing as soon as practicable after award of contract.
This procurement process is on behalf of the Irish Public Health System (HSE) including all 49 Acute Hospitals and 9 CHO areas, Organisations funded by the HSE and the Irish Public Sector. The Irish Public Sector client base is comprised of Central Government Departments, Offices and Non-Commercial Agencies and Organisations that have a formal reporting and legal relationship with these departments including; Local Authorities including Town Councils, Regional Assemblies, County Enterprise Boards and Libraries: Third level institutions (Universities, Institutes of Technology); VEC Schools, primary, post primary, special and secondary schools (the total number of schools is approximately 4 060) VECs acting on behalf of schools, groups and cluster of schools and youth centres. The Security Sector – An Garda Siochána, the Defence Forces and the Irish Prison Service.
