The Houses of the Oireachtas Service wish to put in place a framework for the supply of provider-hosted Session Border Controllers for SIP trunk connectivity and associated configuration, support, and maintenance. Tenderers are also required to detail how they would peer the SIP trunks they offer with Government Networks. The Organisation’s current telephone solution is currently provided via 30-channel Primary Rate Interface lines. It is essential that the migration to the new service be as seamless as possible for users. There should be no telephone service interruptions, no interim changes in dialling procedures, and no perceived degradation in the quality of service.
