Description of the procurement
The framework agreement will be established on foot of this tender competition for an initial contract for Online Collections User Interface. The initial contract will be awarded to the successful tenderer shortly after the formal establishment of the framework agreement.
An initial contract will be awarded under the framework for two (2) years, with the option to extend for three (3) further periods of up to two (2) years, subject to a maximum duration of eight (8) years.

These numbers will grow over the coming months to include archives and library holdings and in the longer term will include drawings, 3D images, video, and sound recordings.
• NMI are seeking tenders from interested parties to develop a public-facing search and display website for the public index. The index is presented to the user interface as an Elasticsearch index with media files stored on a webserver, accessible over https. Additionally, a machine-readable API returning results in JSON will be required. The key requirement from the interface is that it will be user-friendly for the museum’s public.
