Short description

The UCD Conway Genomics Core Facility requires the provision and installation of a high throughput, benchtop, sequencer capable of massively parallel and deep sequencing of nucleic acids (e.g. Next Generation Sequencer (NGS). The Instrument should be capable of supporting a wide range of Sequencing based applications currently offered by the Genomics Core including, Small Whole Genome, Exome, Transcriptomics, Epigenetics and Single Cell. In particular, the system should be compatible with 10 X Genomics derived single cell libraries.
The Next Generation Sequencer will also form part of the National Spatial Tissue Profiling (NaSPro) Platform for Precision Medicine and as such will facilitate downstream molecular profiling of both bulk tissues and isolated single cell populations. Demonstrated integration with Nanostring Spatial Genomics systems is important
