II.1.4)
Short description
This Robotic Cell Characterisation Facility will will provide the capability for end-to-end, high-throughput, automated workflows to deliver comprehensive profiles of phenotypic states in 2D- and 3D systems. The system will be a unique, custom build, robotically controlled platform enabling high-throughput cell characterisation including phenotyping by flow cytometry, high content analysis, proteomics, and cell culture analysis. It will enable numerous automated workflows to be performed simultaneously, essentially facilitating analysis of any perturbation to cellular function by a large pool of compounds (e.g. combinatorial libraries) or in a number of model systems. The primary focus is on integration and automation of the overall system which is based on the computability and synergy of all components. DCU are seeking a single supplier that can deliver all instrumentation and provide full integration and automation.
