Short description
Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) was established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001 and the Irish Horseracing Industry Act 1994. It is a commercial semi-state body that is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of Horse Racing in Ireland.
The Curragh Racecourse and Cork Racecourse are associates of the contracting Authority and may also avail of this agreement.
At HRI, our vision is to ensure Ireland will be the global leader in Horse Racing and Breeding, sustaining a vibrant and rural industry. Our mission is to develop and promote Ireland's Horse Racing and Breeding industries to administer and govern the sport of Horse Racing in Ireland, to cultivate and promote the highest standards of integrity and welfare. Description of the procurement
Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) was established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001 and the Irish Horseracing Industry Act 1994. It is a commercial semi-state body that is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of Horse Racing in Ireland. HRI subsidiaries include Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Ltd (ITM), Tote Ireland Ltd and HRI Racecourse Division consisting of Leopardstown Racecourse, Fairyhouse Racecourse, Navan Racecourse, Tipperary Racecourse and Leopardstown Golf Centre, as well as a holding interest in Cork Racecourse. HRI Headquarters are located in Ballymany, Newbridge, Co Kildare.
The Curragh Racecourse and Cork Racecourse are associates of the contracting Authority and may also avail of this agreement.
As HRI provide practical marketing support for each of Ireland’s 26 racecourses to help them increase their attendances locally, from time-to-time other racecourses outside of HRI’s subsidiaries may avail of this agreement.

This framework agreement will have a maximum potential duration of four (4) years.
