This public procurement competition relates to a requirement for the Central Bank to have external audits carried out by an independent auditor or a firm of auditors recommended by the Governing Council and approved by the EU Council, as required under Article 27.1 of the Statute of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and of the European Central Bank (ECB). The Central Bank is seeking a service provider for the provision of external audit services to the Central Bank. The services are more fully described in the procurement documents.

Tenderers please note that the initial term of this Agreement shall be from the effective date and shall expire on the completion of the audit for the 2027 financial year (estimated to be a 60 month duration to cover the audits for the financial years 2023 - 2027 (the “Term”). However, the Central Bank has the right, at its discretion, to extend the Term for a further period or periods of up to the completion of the audits for the financial years 2028 and/or 2029 on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Central Bank’s obligations at Law. The maximum duration of the Term shall be up to the completion of the audit for the 2029 financial year.
