Description of the procurement
The Office of Public Works (OPW) operates and supports a substantial number of meeting rooms at our headquarters in Trim and at our Dublin office plus a number of smaller locations throughout the country. Throughout the recent pandemic OPW has seen a rapid shift towards blending working arrangements and with that, meetings now frequently involve both physical meeting rooms and remote participants on the same meeting. There has also been an increased demand for the support of more than one video conferencing platform within meeting rooms as users frequently receive meeting invitations from external parties on platforms not used by OPW.
OPW users require one-touch access to high quality scheduled AV meetings, seamless screen sharing, collaboration and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) capabilities to enable them collaborate effectively in this new environment.
OPW meeting Rooms:
Meeting rooms are equipped with video conference units, multiple screens, wireless screen sharing devices, display panels that show occupancy and upcoming meetings, occupancy sensors, HDMI and USB extenders/switchers, and an array of different mics depending on the size, location and utility of the room in question.
The meeting room equipment employed by OPW to deliver these services includes, but is not restricted to:
• Poly Video conference solutions (X50, X30, G7500)
• Barco (CSE-200, CX30,CX50) wireless presentation
• Crestron Fusion (CEN-ODT-C) occupancy sensors
• Crestron Meeting Room Panel - TSS-7
• A variety of screens from 55” to 86” HD and 4K screens.
Poly equipment is currently provisioned with Starleaf Room as the Video Conference platform.
Devices are monitored and managed centrally using Crestron Fusion, Poly Lens and Barco XMS.
Room and video conference scheduling is enabled via Outlook/Exchange Room calendars and Starleaf plugin for Outlook.
