Description of options:
The contract will provide flexibility to IÉ to increase or decrease the size of the fleet as business requirements dictate and under the contract the supplier will be required to ensure that a minimum number of operational vehicles is available at all times.
It is envisaged that that within two years the initial requirements will be fulfilled however, there will be provision in the contract to increase the fleet up to potentially 20 tugs.
