Description of the procurement

This is a Notice to notify the market of the ongoing existence of the Qualification System for Civil/Marine Engineering Contractors under which competitions can be conducted for Works projects in connection with Dublin Port. The Qualification System has been operational since 2015. Contractors already registered have been contacted to request their continued interest, new contractors interested in being considered should ensure they read the rules contained in the procurement documents available from www.etenders.gov.ie.

Conditions to be fulfilled by economic operators in view of their qualification

Conditions to be fulfilled by economic operators in view of their qualification:
Registration for the qualification system can be achieved by completing and
submitting the qualification questionnaire available from www.etenders.gov.ie (RFT ID: 212826). All applicants will be evaluated and notified of their admittance status for the qualification system. The system is of indefinite duration the next date for application in order to be considered for the next round of contracts is [17th May 2022] at 12 noon.

Methods according to which each of those conditions will be verified

All applicants will be assessed on the basis of their responses to the qualification questionnaire available from www.etenders.gov.ie.
This qualification system will operate as a multi-stage qualification system. Its purpose, as a multi-stage system is to enable DPC to identify the most suitable parties to engage in negotiated procedures leading to the conclusion of framework agreements and/or the award of works contracts under Directive 2014/25/EU. The 1st stage involves an evaluation of expressions of interest received for qualification under the system based upon responses to the Qualification Questionnaire. DPC will employ the 1st stage to identify interested parties and may add additional stages in order to draw up tender lists. Economic operators at any time may request qualifications including applicants who were previously unsuccessful.
