Description of the procurement

The scope of the Framework will include repairs or replacement of defective footpaths countywide under the remit of Wexford County Council. Typical works will include general patching and repair works to footpaths, construction of new sections of footpath, road surface repairs, installation or resetting gullies, installation or resetting manhole covers and other related ironworks, installation of service ducting, installation of sockets for signs or lampposts, repairs to block paving and steps, traffic and pedestrian management.
The scope also includes new footpaths and cycle lanes and any ancillary works.
INITIAL PROJECT:
Risk Remediation Programme - Footpath Improvement Works for New Ross Municipal District – Phase 2. Typical works in this area will include general patching and repair works to footpaths, construction of new sections of footpath, road surface repairs, installation or resetting gullies, installation or resetting manhole covers and other related ironworks, and repairs to block paving. Details to be provided at stage 2 of the process.
