Short description

Currently CHI own and/or manage some 3,900 dwellings nationwide across Ireland. CHI aspires to implement a rolling programme of housing stock condition survey inspections so that:
• A proportion of the stock (some 800 per annum) is inspected on a rolling five-yearly cycle basis, with the appointment of external consultants to ‘kick-start’ this process before transitioning to the delivery of annual survey activity via an in-house team;
• Newly developed and/or acquired properties are added to the programme and survey database in a planned and progressive way;
• Data on existing property assets is periodically updated and refreshed to a position
where data on all properties is no more than five years old; and
• Investment programmes and long-term business plans are informed by up-to-date and valid data.
