Short description

The Independent Supervisory Service will provide a suitable individual qualified in a relevant building / construction discipline (Engineering, Architectural degree etc.) who will have extensive experience in working in the Nigerian and/ or equivalent African construction context post qualification.
The primary role of the Independent Supervisor will be to represent the interests of DFA by independently monitoring and reporting on behalf of the DFA Project team that the progress of the construction works, quality of both materials and workmanship are executed by the contractor; in accordance with, programme, planning permission, building regulations, all contract drawings, specifications, Health and Safety requirements etc.
The Independent Supervisor will also observe and report to DFA on the performance of the Design Team in their onsite administration of the construction contracts and their quality certification of completed works.

Description of the procurement
