Description of the procurement

Part-time Consultancy Position working to the National Programme Office and utilising the existing developed network of Age Friendly Programmes and collaborating with Chambers Ireland we are now seeking to commission a resource to undertake a piece of work which would specifically include the following action areas
• Delivering the Age Friendly Business Training at both local and regional level using the existing training modules and training tools
• Deliver Age Friendly Business Programme ‘train the trainer’ training to regional and local Programme Managers
• Motivate and encourage RPMs and PMS to use their training to deliver programme
• Through the National office, work with the network of Age Friendly Programme Managers in the local authority led programmes to engage with key local stakeholders including the local Chamber of Commerce, Local Enterprise Office and Director of Economic Development seeking local leadership and ownership to develop an Age Friendly Business Programme
• Develop further relationships with national businesses to extend the programmes to branch networks across the country
• Promote the Age Friendly Business Recognition Programme and create brand awareness through various media channels thus facilitating wide scale delivery across Ireland
• High level reach out to member led business organisations - IBEC, SFA, Retail Excellence, EO
• Support organisation of events locally to engage small business in Recognition Programme
• Support linking with Age Friendly County Ambassadors to encourage media coverage and good reaction
• Develop and support the Age Friendly Business maintenance programme
• Development of Age Friendly Workplace programme
• Supporting the Age Friendly Shared Service team with strategy, innovation, communications and the delivery of the wider Age Friendly programme, bringing new ideas to the table, in order to maximise the reach and impact of the Age Friendly message
