Short description

In summary, the Services comprise: Services to test specific weighing and volumetric solutions and demonstrate their capability to connect with a Remote Electronic Monitoring (REM) system.
The SFPA requires a suitably qualified provider to plan and implement a land-based pilot project to test the efficacy of the following weighing and volumetric technologies, identified in a 2020 research report commissioned by the SFPA, and demonstrate their capability to connect with a REM system to support implementation of the landing obligation:
1. Motion compensating batch hopper scales to record length and weight of discarded species (demersal fleet)
2. Motion compensating crane hanging scales to record bulk catch weight (demersal fleet)
3. Ultrasonic flow sensor to estimate the volume of catch in pelagic RSW vessels.

Description of the procurement
