This Tender is to establish a multi supplier framework of Projects Engineers for Small & Minor Works projects at University College Cork with a maximum of Five (5) participating teams.
The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of competitive tenders received for the award of the initial contract for the role of Project Engineer based on 37.5 hours per week for 92 weeks over a 24-month duration (taking cognisance of annual leave).
The Project Engineer will have a Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) background and will work primarily on various UCC small & minor works projects and will be required to support the Capital Projects Office team to manage the delivery of multiple projects from 2022 to 2024, reporting directly to an appointed member of the Capital Projects Office team. the project engineer will assist the appointed member with the day to day management of the projects

Description of the procurement
This Tender is to establish a multi supplier framework of Projects Engineers for Small & Minor Works projects at University College Cork with a maximum of Five (5) participating teams to whom specific contracts may be awarded on a non-exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”), a copy of which will be issued with the tender documents.
The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of competitive tenders received for the award of the initial contract for the role of Project Engineer based on 37.5 hours per week for 92 weeks over a 24-month duration (taking cognisance of annual leave).
The Project Engineer will have a Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) background and will work primarily on various UCC small & minor works projects and will be required to support the Capital Projects Office team to manage the delivery of multiple projects from 2022 to 2024, reporting directly to an appointed member of the Capital Projects Office team, the project engineer will assist the appointed member with the day to day management of the projects including liaising with project stakeholders and co-ordinating the activities of consultants & contractors. The role will involve both office & site based duties. The Project Engineer will also be required to have a good knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical installations.
This competition is conducted using an open procedure with a qualitive assessment. The Most Economically Advantageous Tenders, will be appointed to the framework following the prequalification stage.The tenderer with the top score under the MEAT criteria will be awarded the initial contract and the top five ranked tenderers will be appointed to the framework contingent on the top five ranked tenderers achieving the minimum required standard.
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
