Short description
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of a walk-in, multi-purpose, controlled-environment Growth chamber, supplied with a multi-tier arrangement with adjustable light intensity and LED technology in line with the specifications set out. The chamber should be walk in, with software capable of being accessed remotely. Due to restricted access, the Growth chamber will require onsite construction and site survey will be permitted for the successful tenderer post award. The remit of this project is to provide essential equipment required to meet current activities in Teagasc Environmental Soils and Land Use Department.
The successful tenderer is required to carry out delivery and installation and technical training.
Where the bidder has more than one system matching the specifications, details for each system should be provided separately and should be limited to 2.

Teagasc, reserve the right to purchase up to an additional five (5) systems should such a need arise within eighteen (18) months, commencing from the date of Award Notice.
The Education Procurement Service, on behalf of Public Sector Bodies, reserves the right to purchase up to an additional one (1) item should such a need arise within Eighteen (18) months commencing from the Award Notification date.
