The Oireachtas Broadcasting Unit also includes a Studio Production Control Room, which will need to be capable of controlling any of these 7 locations.

Description of the procurement

The scope of the tender requirements will also include decommissioning and ethical disposal of most of the existing cameras, pan & tilt units and all associated equipment, along with the provision of a design to fully integrate the new camera chains, robotics, and associated equipment. This includes the modification of new technical furniture in the existing facility if required. Also included is the provision, installation, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, hand over and support of the system as described in this RFT.
Disposal of obsolete equipment shall be in compliance with WEEE regulations or in a manner which ensures that any residual value is realised.
