Prior Information Notice for the Promotion of European Beef & Lamb in Asia & the United States of America.
As part Commission’s annual call seeking applications for EU co-funding support for the promotion of agricultural products, Bord Bia submitted a proposal for a three year “Working with Nature - European Beef & Lamb” campaign in May 2021.
Subject to approval, this €4.78m (incl VAT) Information and Promotion campaign will be rolled out across China, Japan, South Korea and USA and include promotional initiatives from; Public Relations, Website & Social Media, Communications, Trade Fairs, Chefs’ Masters Series, Trade Seminars and Inward Study Visits.
If the above application is successful, Bord Bia will seek to appoint an Implementing Body to assist in the delivery of this campaign over the period 2022-2024.
It is expected that DG Agri/ EA (Research Executive Agency will announce its decision on successful applications in October 2021.
