The EPA is establishing a multiple operator framework agreement for the procurement of services to undertake characterisation of municipal waste, other waste streams and post-consumer products.Contracts may be awarded across any of the EPA Offices.It is envisaged that initial contracts awarded under the framework will include: Characterisation and compositional analysis of household and non-household (commerical) municipal waste (residual, recyclables and organics).Additional services that may be procured under this framework include: Design and conduct characterisation studies of varying scale and scope involving: municipal skip waste,food waste (household and commercial),WEEE and metal packaging in mixed metal loads,litter and street bin waste ,community clean-up and fly-tipped waste,college campus waste,textile waste,post-consumer products,any other waste type.

Description of the procurement

The EPA is establishing a multiple operator framework agreement for the procurement of services to undertake characterisation of municipal waste, other waste streams and post-consumer products.
Contracts may be awarded across any of the EPA Offices.It is envisaged that initial contracts awarded under the framework will include:

Additional services that may be procured under this framework include:

There is no guarantee of additional contracts, but where they arise, the Contracting Authority will consult the members of the framework agreement in accordance with the rules of operation outlined in this Request for Tender.
