CIE Group IT&T seeks to engage a single IT Managed Service Provider for the delivery of a suite of SLA-governed and IT Managed Services (to ITIL standard) from modern data centre facilities (to TIA-942 Tier3 or equivalent standard).
The Service Provider will be responsible for delivery of IT infrastructure projects during the term of the contract

Description of the procurement

IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract renewal
This Managed Service Provider (MSP) will be responsible for the following elements, but are not limited to:
• Storage Administration – manage and maintain SAN(s) and provide all reporting for CIÉ to improve performance and efficiency.
• Backup Management –operate backup and restoration (DR) services for the CIÉ estate.
• Standard Operations – daily/weekly/monthly checks on in scope systems, reaction to alerts on estate and corrective actions. Full Server Management and related services.
• Server/Client Patch Management – manage and patch CIÉ estate as per patch releases by vendors.
• WAN & LAN Operations – provide 24/7 Network Management, monitoring and operations of the network including core DC network and management of 3rd party suppliers (MPLS/Internet)
• Site Support Services across CIÉ Sites where required– provide break fix/warranty servicing on IT Equipment located within CIÉ sites or Data Centres.
• Monitoring Services – proactive monitoring of the CIÉ estate to support the SLAs. 24/7 online access to as near to real time monitoring dashboards that integrate with other monitoring tools in the CIÉ estate.
• Reporting Services –RCA (root cause analysis) reporting, operational and service reporting to facilitate the governance on the account and technical and security reporting for stakeholders.
• Security Administration – operate Firewall & Anti-Virus and associated end point security technologies across the CIÉ estate.
• Security Services - 24/7 Security Monitoring & Incident Response (Anti-Virus, Firewall, Vulnerability Management, SIEM).
