Short description
The University of Limerick (UL) UL is seeking to collaborate with an international professional healthcare organisation with a network of members engaged either directly or indirectly in healthcare delivery as well as persons working as specialists in health sector industries. The successful tenderer must have a worldwide reach with experience of providing courses to professionals directly involved in healthcare delivery, and to persons in supporting roles, as well as specialists working in health sector industries. Tenderers must demonstrate strong working relationships fostered over time with healthcare information technology system suppliers and consultants and must have solely owned, platform independent Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that can be utilised to support the delivery of International Master Programmes in conjunction with UL, for participants engaged in healthcare delivery worldwide.

Description of the procurement

This organisation will work with the Computer Science and Information Systems Department, University of Limerick in the promotion, delivery, training and support of Master Programmes in International Digital Health Transformation. The successful tenderer must have a worldwide reach with experience of providing courses to professionals directly involved in healthcare delivery, and to persons in supporting roles, as well as specialists working in health sector industries. Tenderers must demonstrate strong working relationships fostered over time with healthcare information technology system suppliers and consultants and must have solely owned, platform independent Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that can be utilised to support the delivery of International Master Programmes in conjunction with UL, for participants engaged in healthcare delivery worldwide.

The Contracting Authority reserves the right, at its discretion, to extend the Term for a period or periods of up to twelve (12) months with a maximum of two (2) such extension or extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority’s obligations at law. The Term will not exceed five (5) years in aggregate.
