Short description

This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) for the procurement a specialist company to undertake a LiDAR Aerial Survey along its entire network (approximately 1100 miles of track).
IÉ proposes to pre-qualify a number of suitably qualified candidates to participate in the tender process to undertake a LiDAR Aerial Survey along its entire network (approximately 1100 miles of track).
The purpose of the LiDAR Aerial Survey is to capture every track asset within a specific survey corridor, minimising the need for future topographical surveys. Capturing the height and slope of our cutting & embankment assets are particularly important so the survey needs to be undertaken between Oct-Mar when vegetation growth is low.

Capturing the height and slope of our cutting & embankment assets are particularly important so the survey needs to be undertaken between Oct-Mar when vegetation growth is low. IÉ will require multiple aircraft passes to capturing oblique imagery of our railway lines and our track assets in both directions. It also envisaged that 100 TB of survey data will be captured during the survey, we require a contractor that can deliver the processed data in a timely manner.
