Short description
The purpose of this competition is to establish a Single Operator Framework Agreement relating to Access Control Systems at NUI Galway. NUI Galway is committed to replacing existing GSD systems with access control systems in a range of campus locations on a phased basis as funding permits. Following a competitive tendering process in 2020, a single party framework agreement was established and the first phases of this replacement work were completed. As a result of additional funding secured, the initial contract awarded through this Framework will be for the completion of as many of the remaining locations as possible by a funding deadline set of 31st July 2021. This Framework may also be used for any additional work relating to the initial contract, as well as any associated requirements in terms of maintenance, repair, replacement or additional hardware, software upgrades and any expansion of systems as required. However, there is no guarantee of additional contracts.
