Short description

The DSBP2 will comprise of an initial 20 school building projects and may be expanded to include further projects in the future. These schools comprise a combination of new build, replacement, refurbishment and extensions for primary and post primary schools. The NDFA intends to deliver the DSBP2 in bundles of approximately 5-7 schools each and each bundle is expected to have a construction value in the region of €75-120m. It is intended that there will be 3 initial bundles, referred to as Project Nore, Boyne and Dargle and that further bundles may be added in the future. This competition is for the establishment of a Design and Build contractor framework for the DSBP2 and the award of the first call-off contract under the framework (Project Nore). The call-off contracts for the other two initial Bundles will be the subject of mini-competitions under this Framework, as will any subsequent bundles.
