Short description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) wishes to procure the supply, delivery and installation of 4 x Plot Drills for Cereals and Grasses/Clover. The drills for cereals should be capable of accurately shallow sowing crops of Oilseed rape, sowing all cereals in a conventional manner and sowing spring beans to depths of 10 cm deep. Successful accurate drilling will be required in conventional plough based systems as well as in min till situations. The Grasses and Clover Plot Drill should be capable of accurately sowing species of Perennial Ryegrass, Hybrid Ryegrass, White Clover and other species of grasses and clovers, individually or in a mixture, in a manner compatible with a conventional plough/till based system. In summary, the Goods comprise of 3 x units Plot Drills (Cereal) and 1 x unit Plot Drill (Grasses/Clover).
