Short description

Bord Na Móna Powergen Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bord Na Mona plc, intends to construct a wind farm consisting of 24 wind turbine generators and associated infrastructure on a c.1908 Ha site spanning Derryadd, Derryaroge and Lough Bannow bogs located approximately 2km east of the town of Lanesborough and 9km south west of Longford Town in south County Longford, Ireland. It is intended that the wind farm will be developed following a successful bid into a Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) anticipated in 2021.
This document provides Tenderers with general information regarding the Project and a description of the anticipated selection process. Tenderers who, having read this document, are interested in participating in the competition, should complete the Shortlisting Questionnaire in accordance with the instructions set out therein.
