EirGrid is seeking Community Fund Administration Services providers for the administration of community funds associated with the construction of new energy infrastructure. EirGrid is seeking providers who have demonstrated experience in community fund development, grant administration and a proven track record of working with local communities and County/City Councils and other representative bodies.
The successful providers will assist with the scoping, design, implementation and evaluation of EirGrid’s Community Funds distribution and administration ensuring industry best practice. Description of the procurement
The Irish ‘Government Policy Statement on the Strategic Importance of Transmission and Other Energy Infrastructure’ published 2012 underlined the appropriateness of incorporating community gain considerations into major energy infrastructure projects. In line with this policy statement, EirGrid currently has a number of energy infrastructure projects in Ireland eligible for a Community Fund, including Clashavoon – Dunmanway 100 kV line, North South Interconnector, Celtic Interconnector, North Connaught, and Laois – Kilkenny Reinforcement Scheme. The cumulative fund value will be in excess of €6 million.

Community Fund Administration Services must be in full compliance with GDPR requirements.
Candidates are invited to submit a qualification application for inclusion on the tender list in accordance with this PQQ.
The Framework Agreement period will be for an initial duration of four years with the option to extend annually for up to an additional four years, subject always to the satisfactory performance of the suppliers.
