Description of the procurement

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified candidates interested in being considered as contractor for the provision of owner’s engineer services for Derryadd Wind Farm. A detailed scope of the Client/Owners Engineer Services to be provided will be outlined to shortlisted parties at ITT stage. For the purposes of responding to the PQQ the tenderer should outline their experience across the following tasks: 1. Supporting the procurement of Turbine Supplier, Operations and Maintenance Provider, Civil Balance of Plant (CBOP) and Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) Contractors 2. Providing technical support during the technical due diligence as part of the project financing process 3. Support the Bord na Móna project team in relation to statutory consents and obligations 4. Undertaking the role of the Engineer under the Civil and Electrical Balance of Plant Contracts and the role of Employer’s Representative under the Turbine Supply Agreement 5. Liaising on behalf of the Owner with the Transmission System Operator and Transmission Asset Owner to co-ordinate all necessary interactions 6. Providing technical input to the Owner during the execution of commercial and regulatory activities relating to the development and construction of the wind farm 7. Project and Contract Management of large Wind Farm developments.
